Established in 2013 by Jeddah Vazhakkad Panchayath KMCC, Haritha Swanthanam is a registered charitable society serving the sick and underprivileged of Vazhakkad and surrounding villages — every service completely free of charge.

Three ways we ease suffering — each one free of cost to every patient.

Since 2013

🦽 Medical equipment on free loan

Where we began: costly medical equipment given free on loan to patients who badly need it at home — used for as long as needed, then returned so it can serve the next family. Our inventory includes oxygen concentrators, BiPAP machines, ICU cots, wheelchairs, walkers and walking sticks, nebulisers and more.

🏥 Free physiotherapy clinic

In 2023 we expanded into a dedicated physiotherapy clinic at the heart of Vazhakkad — professional therapists and modern equipment, treating 25–35 underprivileged patients every day, entirely free.

From a single act of lending to a growing centre of care.

2013 — Where it beganJeddah Vazhakkad Panchayath KMCC establishes Haritha Swanthanam, lending costly medical equipment free of charge to patients who badly needed it at home.
2017 — Registered societyFormally registered as KMCC Haritha Swanthanam Charitable Society (Reg. No. MPM/CA/815/2017, dated 13/12/2017) under the Kerala Societies Registration Act — registered office opposite the Primary Health Centre, Vazhakkad.
2023 — The free clinicServices expanded with a dedicated free physiotherapy clinic, treating 25–35 underprivileged patients daily.
2025 — Child therapyChild therapy added, extending free developmental care to the youngest patients.
